“now Prigozhin has shown that putin is weak,
he brought an army with him into russia, into putin’s territory
everything has changed now...
putin is not the *strong man* he promised he would be
putin does not know how to come clean or take responsibility
he may go downhill from here
May it be so!”
TOTALLY AGREE!
Prigozhin has shown TO THE WORLD that putin is weak
everything has changed now...
My putin’s invasion end soon. May it be so.
I have just listened to the entire 38 minute video at 2) in comment #38. This covers many of the recent aspects of the Ukraine/Russia conflict in great detail. First it looked at conflict around bakhmut and an Importent Russian headquarters at Soledar (pronounced in so many different ways I was uncertain what city was meant) just north of there. Apparently Ukraine launched a successful move against that HQ.
Another topic covered was the new UK missiles that can hit as far as 250 km. deep into Crimea territory. Putin was again enraged and planned to move unmanned S400s into Crimea, but using ships to bring S400s to Sevastopol harbor since land routes were considered more dangerous. British subs in the Black Sea used electronics to disrupt use of the S400s to protect the ships, and 3 Russian ships were apparently sunk.
The reporting then moved to China and described various difficulties for China in dealing with the West. Details of both Russian and Chinese economics were touched on, as well as involvement of the G7. Then reports that Putin had activated responses in the Baltics which prompted Finland to give a very strong warning against Russia doing something stupid. Ultimately with various Ukraine successes and responses from various allies, both Chinese and Russian economy were considered fragile and in trouble, and it was suggested Putin might resign and earlier elections in Russia might be held.
At any rate this was long and complex information which I regret, since I was not taking notes, is nowhere as detailed and precise as I would have preferred. Hope you will find it a very interesting picture of a number of interacting topics , problems, predictions, and successes.
In comment #9, youtube 2) references 27,000 Russian troops who have surrendered over a recent 2 week period. There is mention of another 5,000 which apparently are Russian soldiers captured in the Belgorod by the Russian rebels. They tried to negotiate holding of the prisoners with the official Russian Mayor of Belgorod who refused to meet, so the rebels took their captives back to Ukraine for internment. This video was just under 10 minutes.
At this point, I am wondering where Ukraine keeps such a large number of prisoners. Feeding them must also be difficult. An exchange of over 2,000 prisoners of each army was done recently. Is there a different procedure for Russian soldiers who volunteered to surrender? wouldn’t they face severe punishment by Russia if repatriated?
At comment #4, item 1) Ben Hodges in an 8 minute video explains what happens with regard to Prigozhins suprise move on the Russian government. This is followed by a 17 minute BBC broadcast video describing the 24 hours of chaos that resulted in Russia from Prigozhin’s unexpected revolt. BBC presents it’s reporters in Moscow, Ukraine, and elsewhere with information and interviews. I stopped at the first interview with a “woman in the street” in Moscow. Are all the men hiding from the recruiters?
Unfortunately I have to leave this page to look at 2) which is commentary from Gen. Petraeus and in order to make a commentary about that.
The 8 minute video at comment #4 labeled 2) is has Gen. Petraeus comparing much worse loses by Russia in this Ukraine war than in a decade of Afghanistan fighting. He believes a disastrous New Civil War will take place in Russia. This video is followed by a 10 minute video from Germany’s DW news looking at the end of Prigozhin’s 24 hour rebellion and the move by Belarus’s Lukashenko to mediate the dispute and bring about an ending that most Russians are OK with, even if Putin is probably not very happy about any of this.
Looks like they took the CIAs money and ran.
Or ran around the entire front.
TOTALLY AGREE!
There was a typo in my comment #45. The 38 minute video I spoke of was the 2nd link in comment #28, my finger accidentally hit the number 3 instead of the number 2. there was a section talking about Ukraine attacks on Russian ships trying to slip S400s into Sevastopol. This was Putin’s response to the latest long distance UK missiles that can reach 250 kms. There was also something about UK subs disturbing the aim of the Russian ships defending themselves. I could not hear it very well. Do the British have some kind of subs in the Black Sea? COuld these be some kind of small submersibles assembled perhaps in Odessa and launched from there? I have heard that Turkey would block any subs from entering the Black Sea. I think I heard this in the second half of the 38 minute presentation.
Thank you dear one
