Americans in middle America are not too keen on seeing minorities on their tv shows.

That’s not the problem. “The Cosby Show,” “Good Times,” The Jeffersons” to name a few were wildly popular when they were on. That’s because they were decently written shows with good casts. The weren’t always preaching at us. A little, but not blatant, in-your-face crap like this from the article:

The Cosby show is now almost impossible to watch, because the Main character was so obviously Bill Cosby. Yuck.
