It ain’t about geography, it’s about who’s in government. and from the looks of the Knoxville Mayor, I’m betting meetings are already happening.
She’s liberal all right...but I’m seeing midrise and high rise condos go up where restaurants used to be on the strip (U-T has hinted about putting up some new ones near the stadium), also midrise condos go up where single family housing used to be on the south waterfront, but I’m not seeing any new grocery stores.
I’m thinking you’ll need a car more than ever, although finding a place to park it will be a challenge.
They’re building parking structures on the south side....so it’s all lip service I think..
