Riding my bicycle at night in the past week I saw the largest rabbit I ever saw (I was alarmed), a small fox (which I saw in two different locations an hour apart), two raccoons (that were together), a large white cat and just a couple of hours ago a ferret (which moved amazing through the bushes). All here in Berlin.
Where did you get the LSD?
Your rabbit story reminded me of the behaviour of jack rabbits in rural southeast Nebraska years ago. The rabbits would be sitting on the road or alongside at night. When a car came along they would jump out and run ahead at the limit of the light beam. Young fellow drivers would often speed up with bad results for the rabbit.
I lived in Lincoln attending the University of Nebraska. On occasion, I would bicycle to the farm for the weekend. It was about four hours and sometimes dark for the last part. My light was a generator operated incandescent head lamp. A jack decided to play his game with me. I could tell you that I ran him down with the bicycle, but that would’t be true.
That humongous Rabbit you saw may have been a Flemish Giant. They are bred for their meat and fur. Can weigh about 20 pounds and are usually mild mannered.
Somebody gifted North Korea president Kim Jong Un with a few to help populate a rabbit farm, providing a meat source for his starving people.
Wihin weeks, Kim had all those rabbits slaughtered and prepared as entrees for his own private dinners.
