Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives have taken over the country, reaching into every aspect of our work, school, and lives. What is "DEI," though? New Discourses founder James Lindsay explains the idea and its history in unprecedented depth in this new series from an in-person workshop in Miami, Florida, breaking down each of the three letters in detail. What we'll find is that it's a contemporary and managerial repackaging of socialism.

In this first episode of the series, Lindsay dives into the concept at the center of DEI: Equity. It is not possible to understand DEI initiatives without realizing that equity is what drives them. Equity is the goal of all DEI programs, which is to say that DEI programs exist to force captive audiences of people to achieve "equitable" redistribution of resources, status, and wealth according to neo-Marxist Identity Theories like Critical Race Theory. Equity is an administered political economy in which shares are adjusted so that citizens are made equal, including shares of social and cultural capital. In other words, it's an expansion of socialism. Once we understand what equity is about, the purposes of "Diversity" and "Inclusion" initiatives become clear. When I think of "equity" I'm reminded of an event from some years ago. We all remember that some years back that BillyBob,the nation's first "black" President,needed heart surgery. We were told that he was in danger and that the surgery would be difficult. Of course we all know that he survived that surgery.

However a day or two after the surgery the hospital held a press conference to give a status report. A half dozen,or more,doctors were present...all of whom,we were told,were involved in his care. Looking at them...all dressed in their long white "Attending Physician" lab coats...one couldn't help but notice that they were all male...all white...and they all had white or grey hair.

Absolutely *no* "equity" to be seen in that room.

However,BillyBob was fantastically wealthy and he *was* from Arkansas so maybe "equity" didn't mean much to him.

I haven't watched any of Mr Lindsay's vids so for 💩s and giggles I looked up what Wikipedia has to say about him and lo and behold! The first sentence

"James Stephen Lindsay (born June 8, 1979), known professionally as James A. Lindsay, is an American author, cultural critic, mathematician and conspiracy theorist."

It goes on to say "He is a proponent of the right-wing LGBT grooming conspiracy theory
Thanks in large part to the "thoughtful" insight from the Wiki whackos I'm gonna listen to what Lindsay has to say. I can't help but LMAO at the left accusing others of conspiracy mongering, when it was they who came up with some real doozies. Like the moon landing hoax conspiracy which CPUSA head Gus Hall concocted before Alex Jones was even thought of. And the one about John Lennon murdered by the CIA, among others. Lol. See, Wikipedia is worthwhile if you know how to interpret it. I saw Lindsay introduced as a mathematician in some other video. That was the hook that got me.

Now to be honest, his mathematics background holds him back from being a good orator. He needs to learn to use 75% fewer words. (Something I need to do myself.)

Do you think that it is a coincidence that DEI is Latin for, to or from God? Why did they pick that order instead of DIE or any other combination? Why is it that no one ever mentions the Latin meaning of Dei?

Dei is Latin for to, from or of God, as in Mater Dei.
