If Russia’s supplies of weapons are plentiful then why:
1. Is Russia deploying eighty year old museum pieces to the battlefield?
2. Why hasn’t Russia deployed thousands of T-14 tanks to Ukraine?
3. Why hasn’t Russia used their massive fleet of Su-57 fighters?
4. Why is Prighozin constantly needing arms for his mercenaries?
5. If Russia has plenty of conventional weapons why do they have to make nuclear threats every day?
6. Finally, if Russia is so awash in military kit why didn’t they defeat Ukraine last March?
The museum tanks are serving as short to medium range mobile artillery. They are well suited to that. The T90s are there but you’re not seeing many tank battles. Hoho tanks are being killed by standoff weapons and the alligators...
Great post!
You’ve outdone me.
No one will in the Russian camp will answer them directly.
What a ludicrous statement!
First, Russia is not fighting Ukraine. Russia is fighting the whole of the US and Europe (David & Goliath) -- and winning while doing it. And they just stopped the "mother of all counter-offensives" dead in its tracks which was designed to cut off the land bridge and take Crimea in a march to the sea. Now, that's really winning.
By the way, they destroyed 20% of the billions of equipment the Ukes begged for in the process. That is billions of our tax dollars.
Second, they control over 20% of the former Uke territory. That's what winning looks like. It's irrelevant whether they win with museum tanks or the hottest and latest version just off the assembly line. Winning is winning.
