The phrase "from whom no secrets are hid" is rather well known in the West.

I have concluded from as far back as my draft notices during the LBJ administration that "secrets" are all too often a ruse. For this beloved country so sullied by "secrets" now, one only need look to the debt clock's racing forward to know -- no secret -- that a comeuppance is just around the corner. As the geopolitical restructuring worldwide goes forward, we may also know -- no secret -- that the "leading of the liberal world" has been a ruse, with the few profiting wildly and the many being hammered by inflation. We may also know that corruption is rampant worldwide through the avenues of politics.

Alongside this, we may also know that we are in the hands of One from whom no secrets are hid. I trust in this.

Me too, and very well said.

Like you, over a long life, including service to my country and paying my taxes (lots of taxes), it's hard to finally accept that we have been boldly manipulated and lied to over decades by the very ones we chose to protect us.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
