Mary, our Blessed Mother, was the Mother of Jesus (God) who has two natures (Divine and human) as one person. Just so that it is clear to you, it is Jesus that has two natures.
If you don’t know basic Christian prayers, perhaps your seminary training either had false prophets teaching or they missed key issues of our Christian God’s Truth.
Perhaps you could find some prayers in the Catholic Bible or in the practices of early Catholic Christians that have been passed down through Sacred Tradition.
Perhaps you should concentrate on the “vain repetitions” of protestants instead of the Rosary, such as ‘sola scriptura’; ‘sola fide’; ‘once saved’ etc. that are not biblical and are not God’s truth. I forgot that Luther added the word ‘alone’ to his translation.
Consider reading some of Dr. Scott Hahn’s books who attended protestant seminaries.
I do hope you truly find God’s Truth and not man’s truth and honor Mary as the Blessed Mother of God and given to John as mother and as our spiritual mother (Rev12:17) in John 19:26-27.
I am glad to engage in civil discussion about your explanations of my blasphemy. I hope my response has been respectful to you.
I truly believe that Jesus founded the Catholic Church and delegated his authority to Pope Peter and his successors (although sinners and imperfect). Jesus also established 7 Sacraments to help us in our journey towards Heaven. While other churches/religions may offer parts of God’s Truth, they also offer man’s truth that differs from God’s Truth.
Peace be with you.
In my faith, I stick to Scripture. Anything that is extra-Biblical is not inspired by God, and is man made. That’s why I must have a “chapter and verse” to support a belief or tenet.
Brainwashing has been more successful for some than for others. “Blessed Mother of God”, “Pope Peter”, “rosary”, “sacred tradition” (”tradition” NEVER EVER replaces Scripture!). All made-up stuff.
Jesus founded The Church — the body of Christ. Revenue-generating men founded the Catholic denomination.
Sometimes for fun I imagine Peter, a humble lowly fisherman, with Jesus on the shore. Jesus in his simple robe and sandals. Peter next to him wearing a big Bedazzled hat, draped in velvet, flashing gaudy jewelry, and sitting in a motorized glass bubble.
