The left are stupid. Sometimes, often times, intentionally so.

“Pride goes before the fall.” The “progressive” left fails so spectacularly because they believe themselves to be some kind of superior, super-enlightened beings, when most of them are blithering idiots. Because of this, they completely lack self-awareness and bristle at anyone else who tries to point out the error of their beliefs. Their constant pushing of “Pride”, even devoting an entire month to celebrating it, is the perfect ironic representation of their demented foolishness.

Sometimes stupidity is a better explanation than conspiracy. Our ruling elites can manage elaborate hoaxes like the George Floyd riots the 2020 election fraud, and the January 6th Reichstag Fire, yet refuses to see the effects of rampant crime, reverse racism, and high taxes and regulations on the big cities they control. They pour tens of billions of dollars into the Ukrainians, money that could be sent helping the poor, addressing drug abuse, and building better mass transit.

The ruling elite are the modern equivalent of the decadent French aristocracy in 18th Century France or perhaps the Aztec rulers before the arrival of Cortes. They are decadent and depraved, and these attributes are dominant. Xi, Putin, and other foreign enemies are well aware of the fatally weak American and Western ruling classes.
