If the hospital loses this lawsuit it will signal the beginning of the end for this crap. Hospitals, doctors, and insurance companies have no stomach for losing lawsuits.
I don’t know how they lose the lawsuit unless they didn’t get signatures and written transcripts from the patient herself. I can’t imagine the hospital didn’t go by the book on this from a legal standpoint. Morally that’s a different story.
