Out here in Cali land, there are loads of people in their 40/50’ still dependent on their parents.
One recently widowed lady recently sold her home as is because her 40+ year old daughter and her daughter’s 50 year old boy friend were still living in her home. She planned to hire someone to drive a Uhaulit back to the midwest so she could move in with a widowed sister.
The worthless daughter and boy friend showed up the day before she left to finish packing the Uhaulit and to drive their junker to the midwest. She didn’t tell them no.
Another recent widow had to get a court order barring her dead husband’s 50+ year old daughter from trying to move into the new widow’s home. The widow/our neighbor may move down south to live with her newly widowed brother. He is a retired cop, and he told his druggy niece, if she shows up. She will be arrested.
