What if it were done to Romney or McConnell or Hutchinson or anyone else like that?

Why not just go for the hat trick and castrate them and poke their eyes out. It’d be better to shoot poachers and educate Chinamen.

The horny rhinos breed more frequently.

A few years ago we went to Kenya to visit national parks.During the long drive from Nairobi to Amboselli I talked at length with our guide,James...a great, great guy. We got on the subject of poachers and he said that the Kenyan government's policy on poachers was shoot to kill. No attempts to apprehend...just kill. I don't blame them. Tourism is such a big part of the economy that if rhinos/elephants,etc were to disappear it would be disastrous.

I've had the good fortune to see rhinos (two of them) in the wild."Majestic" doesn't even begin to describe them.

--- "Now, researchers have for the first time shown that this conservation practice changes the behavior of black rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis), making the animals roam far less widely and presumably interact less with other rhinos."

Old news. This was the Lyndon Baines Johnson strategy applied to a different population decades ago. Same result.

Newer news. This is the same as Planned Parenthood is culling the herd.

New news. This is the same result as the transsexual surgeries are doing to sterilize the mentally distraught, convinced that God gave them the wrong body. The architecture of "practice" when "I can change the world" humans "help...."

Perhaps if they cut off the genitals of the horn poachers and televised it there would be less poachers.

Well, at least humans aren’t the only creatures that the bureaucrat operatives are having important parts cut off.

Yeah, it is a Rhino, but it identifies as a Hippo, so we gotta cut off the parts that make it look like what it ‘assigned at birth’.

They score the shells of rescued sea turtles in the Caribbean lots of times to protect them from poachers.

Or they could make Rino farming legal. Then there would be someone with a vested interest in keeping Rinos alive. Horns could be harvested under anesthesia, and everybody wins.

As it is the powers that be will keep Rinos under government “control” and they will likely be poached to extinction. Btw, the major animal “activists” find this preferable to allowing private ownership.

Absolutely the wrong apptoach. The posachers will track a rhino in the bush. If the rhino they track has had its horns cut off, the poachers will kill it becausae they wasted time tracking it.

My first trip to Rhodesia I was given orders that we were to kill any poachers.
