I remember back in 2015 I was in China and met a woman at a dinner party, she told me she worked in medical research but that their funding mainly came from the CDC from the US and that she’s responsible for writing the grant applications every year.

I wondered at the time why the US CDC would be funding ongoing research in a foreign country on an on-going basis, with a budget big enough justify having a fulltime grant applicant.

They never found ANY bat or any creature that could act as a carrier of the CV19 gene.
