It’s interesting that so many articles are being written about Brooks. Is the news media trying to phase people out of their Bud Light boycott? Who is AB InBev paying?

That was my first thought as well. Seems InBev is enlisting liberal bar owners to try and sway actual public opinion.
All this will do is embolden the cause. The only thing good about Garth Brooks is that his wife is talented, and used to be attractive before she backed into an air hose apparently.
I’m not into country music. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the younger generation of country fans like Garth, thinking he’s “old school” (in the eyes of millennials). Maybe Garth sees that and is afraid to alienate a younger audience and their many years of concert ticket purchases and bar spending. Maybe he thinks he’s protecting his brand by saying he’s with the millennials and their values.
