I would say Garth knows his fans pretty well and should keep the Bud Light on tap. Afterall, most of his fans are liberal white women and Light in the loafers men.

My advice: Stay clear of this, Garth. Stick to your massive target (sorry!) audience and above this current social insanity .... and it is insanity!

Having a gay family member is a key factor in making someone liberal. One of the reasons they are encouraging it so much.

I had a gay uncle that really helped form my understanding of the liberal progressive ideology.   He graduated from the University of Alabama in the early 60's and accepted a commission in the USAF as a Nuclear Weapons Systems Fire Control Officer.   That was exactly as you imagined, a Top Secret clearance, two officers in a room one hundred and fifty feet underground ready to push a button to launch nukes.

When his commission ended he bummed around the country à la Route 66 for a few years.   He married a beard and had two beautiful daughters before he divorced and lived with his gay partners.   He was a self-hating alcoholic who split his family apart over the ugly years.

My mother was the oldest sibling and he was the youngest, so my family was the despised conservative faction.   It is funny though, my Grandma was ultraconservative and even tried to go to President Nixon's funeral but was turned away because she didn't have an invitation.   She had to get in line to lay flowers on his grave the next day.

My gay uncle had no funeral due to Covid-19 but I hadn't been in touch with him in any way in over fifteen years.   That was sad because as children, I and my siblings idolized Uncle Tommy and at the end we could only pity how sad he had become.   Half of my cousins are as flaming leftist liberal as they come, but they just call themselves Democrats.
