Just read Hersh's Substack article. He covered all this in great detail. The United States did not get help from the Poles, but the Norwegians. The mission was based in Norway and the Norwegians fully supported the bombings because they hate Russians and they could vastly sell more of their own natural gas to Europe. A Norwegian navy plane triggered the detonation by dropping a sonar buoy, one week after US navy divers laid the underwater C4 explosives.
