I worked for a Clerk of The Court in FL years ago as IT director. The selection process is legit, done by computer.
Rewriting the selection program to exclude Republicans, compiling the new program, running it to select only Dems, then changing the code back back, recompiling again, is very cumbersome and there will always be logs and date stamps on the object code indicating who made the changes and when they were made.
Nobody gets ‘penciled in’ on jury lists, nobody gets excluded based on party or anything else. The defense attorneys, prosecutors and judge will all get a copy of the potential juror list before the proceedings start. You can bet Trump’s attorneys will go over the list with a fine tooth comb and they’ll be questioning the jurors about political party etc during the selection process. Excluding certain groups would be spotted right away.
A hung jury would be beneficial to the Persecution as a new trial would be scheduled to further conflict with the Primary season and keep DJT off the campaign circuit.

Of course if I were to do so I wouldn't announce it to fellow jurors or anyone else.
For example: I totally reject the validity of "hate crime" laws.If I'm ever on a jury hearing such a case I'll vote "not guilty" on any such charge.But I won't tell anyone about my deep contempt for such laws.

I was about to be seated on a jury and I was asked the following question by the judge:
“If I give you instructions will you promise to follow those instructions?”
My answer was… “Well, it depends on what they are.”
The lawyers had a pow wow with the judge and I was excused from jury duty.
I haven’t received a summons for jury duty since.
I think I might be on a list.
