That quote “what does not kill me only makes me stronger “ was said by Conan the Barbarian. Try not to imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger saying it, it was in the comic books and probably the Robert E Howard novels. But it doesn’t mean everything, only those things that you survive and can learn from. Things that just don’t kill you are only not killing you but they don’t make you any stronger. Covid for instance

“What does not kill me makes me stronger” is an aphorism from Friedrich Nietzsche’s book “Twilight of the Idols”. Syphilis did not make him stronger. Of course, it eventually killed him.
