I remember. No longer the case. Maybe twice a week now. I’m more closer to the villages…not in the villages.
I remember when “El Nino” became the scare word for news people back in the early 1980s. There was a massive early fall snow storm in NE Colorado Nebraska, Kansas area something common but the weather broadcaster made out as if it was something new!
Our local weather chick, a thousand miles from the storm, stood out on a dark empty parking lot here and said....”The question that is on everyone’s mind...”(Then looks at the camera with a look of terror on her face)...”IS THIS EL NINO?
I wanted to throw a boot through the TV.
Oh, no! It’s going to be Biblical! The sky is falling!
Yeah, it happens every 3-5 years.
Greta passed a lot of gas the other day.
