Nats claim the game had 3,000 over the average ‘23 attendance of around 21K. Maybe, and that’s the point of “themed” game nights - to attract people who wouldn’t otherwise go to the park. Look, this is DC: enemy territory.
And, the “Proud” were highly motivated to make a show, given the b.s. w/ the Dodgers, etc. One can be sure that if they did, they completely misunderstood the meaning of the “seventh inning stretch.”
