Singapore is sorry for the offence and hurt caused to all Malaysians over statements made by the comedian Jocelyn Chia, Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan said on Thursday
This whole concept of collective guilt is repulsive. The people of Singapore did not rise up and collectively insult Malaysia - one comedienne did. If she wants to apologize, she can. There's not another soul in Singapore who owes the people of Malaysia even a spare thought over this matter.
