Hamilton is really great, IMHO. I wondered what all the fuss was about, and no way could I get tickets, so I borrowed the Original Cast Album from the Library.
It’s 100% great, and patriotic, and just amazing. The guy actually wrote a good tune about monetary policy (something like that!).
George Washington, and all the Founders are treated with true respect.
As to the race changes, or whatever we would call it, I realized that it might have seemed quite silly to have a bunch of white guys doing that rap. There are only so many Eminems (sp?) available.
If you haven’t watched or listened to it, give it a try, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
