Vallee was great at approaching a topic with a completely open mind about all possibilities.
An interesting quote from Vallee:
"The 'medical examination' to which abductees are said to be subjected, often accompanied by sadistic sexual manipulation, is reminiscent of the medieval tales of encounters with demons. It makes no sense in a sophisticated or technical framework: any intelligent being equipped with the scientific marvels that UFOs possess would be in a position to achieve any of these alleged scientific objectives in a shorter time and with fewer risks."

John Mack is my favorite author on the abduction topic.
He concluded that the common insistence on hard boundaries between everyday “reality”, dreams, visions and imagination was flawed.
If you hold to those boundaries none of this stuff makes any sense at all.

(Claiming that laws and regs that limit “hate speech” stop freedom of speech is “hate speech”.)
