I don’t know what the Alaskan triangle is.

Something like the Bermuda Triangle, at least as far as this link indicates:

Not just planes that go missing there, either. I remember reading in one of Frank Edwards' books ("Stranger Than Science", I think?) about an entire village of inuits that was there when trappers passed through on their routes, and had completely vanished when the trappers returned not long afterward. If I remember correctly, there was a skin spot of stew still cooking over a small fire, but not a soul was present in the village. No one ever learned what had happened to them.

Lots of UFO activity there too. I’ve seen video of skimobile tracks that just end. They never found the person or the skimobile!
