Perhaps extensively researched, but at 689 pages and an average of several pages per citation, most of which are “ibid” who can validate its claims? What’s the use of publishing in the “bibliography” a list of newspapers? And for the life of me, I can’t find in the first several dozen pages a single citation, despite the list of 189 in the back.
