The headline is designed to make the reader conclude this happened in Texas. If you read the story, you find out it was Chicago, which fills in a lot of blanks.
Agreed. If it happened in Texas, it would be mildly interesting.
That some cultural communities deal with death by killing some of the survivors is not a phenomena unique to the present time in America.
