I was one of those who drove to Washington D.C. during the Obama years for Tea Parties. Progressives are “making progress” just as they have always done. The only difference is the contexts.
There was the attempted takeover of healthcare, the Cornhusker Kickback, Common Core, I couldn’t even name it all if I tried. 30 years ago they gave us Motor Voter and tried taking over healthcare then too. It’s just different contexts. It’s all the same.
