Prayers for your parents and God bless them both
Being at an ancient age, I understand the danger of these kinds of accidents...
Prayers up in support of your Dad’s total recovery and your Mom’s peace of mind...
Wife and I were married in 1960 and understand the difficulties ahead for your Mom & Dad...
Prayers up.
You Dad is in my Prays. In Jesus’ Name I Pray. Amen.
An update, and thanks all, for your prayers so far.
The description of Dad’s pelvis is “shattered”.
The good news (and a small miracle) is that the bones are all in place, so no surgery tonight.
Internal bleeding appears to have stopped, going by blood work. Dad is on blood thinners, and has been since a massive myocardial infarction about 30 years ago, so the bleeding having stopped is a small miracle in itself.
Mom is home and trying to get some rest. We will see what tomorrow brings.
Sending Prayers.
I can imagine how you must feel.
I join in prayer for the recovery of your parents.
They are precious.
I just hopped on FR and saw this thread. I am praying for your Dad and Mom.
Prayers for your folks.
Prayers for your father and your mother.
The Lord has the night watch for both of them.
Prayers
Prayers for your parents... what a beautiful commitment to each other all these years.
First, thank you, everyone, for your prayers. I firmly believe they have made, and continue to make a difference.
Another update: I spoke with my Father yesterday, briefly, after trying for three days to get through without success.
He is in good spirits, and the sockets for the femurs are intact. However, the broken bits will not be pinned and plated but left to knit in situ. They are aligned, just fractured.
This means a rehab unit, and frankly, Dad won’t be able to sit for a while. Mom is suffering from some medial issues of her own, and won’t be able to do much.
So I ask your continued prayers, as this will be a marathon and not a sprint.
Sending up more prayers for you all.
I want to thanks everyone for their prayers!
Dad is home from rehab, walking, and doing well.
Mom is doing better with her medical issues, too.
Our God is an AWESOME God, and all your prayers are greatly appreciated!
