Right on cue!

And Apollo 8 and 10 orbited but didn’t land. 13 just slingshotted around it once in a desperate rescue mission.
I was in The U.S.S.R. in 1976. We went to a Space Exploration Museum. The tour guide’s spiel was along the lines of “We didn’t need to send men to the moon, we built machines that went there, and brought samples back, for us”.
Far superior ;)
Your ‘point’ ?
The truth will set you free:

Haha
There was a transponder on the Apollo Command Module that could be pinged by amateur radio operators. It was pinged by people all over the world.
Why, yes it can. Chinese craft photographed it and so did one orbited by Japan.
It's true that they did a robotic sample return for a tiny fraction of the cost of the Apollo program.
What's also true is that they built a heavy-lift rocket intended for manned lunar missions, called the N1, and the N1 blew up all four times it was launched.
Which is why they never attempted a manned lunar mission.
Sort of along the lines of The US spending a fortune to develop pens that could write in zero gravity, but the Russians just used pencils (safety considerations aside).
Thanks for your reply !
Ha! My wife is convinced the moon landing was fake and nobody can tell her otherwise. And if you try- IT’S ON!
The BBC would like to apologize to the police about the character of Police Constable Pan Am. He was not meant to represent the average police officer. Similarly, the reference to Buzz Aldrin, the astronaut, was the product of a disordered mind and should not be construed as having any other significance.
Buzz told a little girl in an interview that they never went to the moon....
Maybe they stopped hiring white guys with pocket protectors and slide rules and lost their mojo.
And above all, ignore all third party evidence, like the April 2021 photographs by the Chandrayaan-2 sattelite which shows the Eagle's descent module exactly where NASA says it is.
When?
No just the USSR. Several nations were monitoring it.
