From the reports I've been reading, McAfee will take a paycut to move to ESPN. The plus for him is that he no longer needs to run his own operation with his own engineers, etc. He can let ESPN handle the operations, and he can just provide content - at a lower salary, but without the expenses and operational headaches he has currently.

Well, the biggest plus is he used to be free-wheeling, and un-P.C. Now he just gets to say what ESPN says is okay, and he gets to be woke.

He's the new Jemele Hill.

Can ESPN get rid of him, if his audience doesn't follow him to ESPN? A lot of his audience liked him because he wasn't ESPN, isn't there a chance they can find someone else, instead of going back to ESPN.
