It was a surprise. I just made an offhand comment on how climbing Mount Everest is no big deal anymore on account of thousands of people that have already done it. I also mentioned about all the trash they are leaving up there (see below) for others to pick up.

It must have gone viral because the comments and likes were coming in so fast I couldn't keep up with them. I got some grief too, for saying that, but that's to be expected on the Internet.
