It happened in the 70’s too. There were no cell phones to document and share so it was harder to prove and get caught.
What would you do if you were a 16 year old boy and your 23 year old French teacher is crying because she can’t get her checkbook to balance and her fiancĂ©, who used to handle all this stuff, has dumped her? You would, of course, help her balance her checkbook.
