‘I’m back – you mad, bro?’ Not only is AOC parody account back, but Kamala Harris now has one too
The infamous Twitter user Catturd revealed plans to bring the account back to life, “FYI … If you listen to my podcast, you know I wrote many tweets for the @AOCpress parody account. However, I didn’t own or run the account. Tune in to our podcast at http://inthelitterbox.com and I’ll explain what happened and my plans to bring the account back myself, like literally.”
The New Yorker was not amused, “FYI there’s a fake account on here impersonating me and going viral. The Twitter CEO has engaged it, boosting visibility. It is releasing false policy statements and gaining spread. I am assessing with my team how to move forward. In the meantime, be careful of what you see.”
Uplift Harris: Multi-million dollar program provides guaranteed income to residents in need
HOUSTON - A new, multi-million dollar program was announced Monday in Harris County that looks to help bridge economic inequality and reduce poverty.
As the first of its kind for the city, a pilot program would launch later this year, if approved, where families living below 200% of the federal poverty line - approximately $40,000 for a family of four - will receive $500 a month to support household needs.
