I can't help thinking that he was living life according to the attitudes and behaviors of his character on That Seventies Show and it came back to make trouble for him in the end. Of course, rape is an extreme example, but a lot of what was thought "cool" in the Seventies will get you #MeToo'ed in today's world.

Also, didn't all that Scientology training help him to become "clear" of his demons and engrams? Maybe, like therapy, Scientology just frees people to do what the demons want them to do.
