Offenses allegedly occurred 20+ years ago. Statute of limitations?

Not for rape in California, since 2016.

Thanks. The way I read the article is if new DNA evidence emerges, a prosecution may be made at any time after the offense is alleged to have occurred. Otherwise, the 10-year statute of limitations still applies.
