BURN !!!!
I wonder what the evidence was to convict ...
Thank Xenu!
It only became a “church” to get the tax exemption.
Sweet!
Offenses allegedly occurred 20+ years ago. Statute of limitations?
Well, it happened in his home, presumably while they were there alone. So it’s probably a “he said, she said” type of case.
Rule of law? Are you kidding? That was thrown out the window w Trump.
Most likely, not enough evidence even though he's probably guilty. I would vote for his innocence even though I believe he did it.
Do you think it was rape-rape?
> Offenses allegedly occurred 20+ years ago. Statute of limitations? <
That was my first thought also. Statutes of limitations were put in place for a reason, a very good reason. But just like the Rule of Law, nothing matters anymore.
Heck, three people can come forward and swear that on May 31, 2010 I broke into their house, kicked their dog, then stole their $1000 TV set. I’d be done. I have no idea where I was on May 31, 2010.
And no way could I find anyone who did know.
you said ..”20+ years ago”
Well he was younger .. and famous ... and had money ..
so they had sex.
Now he’s older .. a has been ... might still have some money ..
obvious rape.
I should have been a lawyer ..
Looks like it. But it happened 20 years ago. No way to prove it other than her story. It sounds credible to me.
Scientology was taken over by the Cunning Idiots Agency in the early 60’s and L. Ron...kind of like the guy we see playing Bye ‘den. A few people got set free of guilt and shame, similar to Christians, thus no longer slaves and they hate that.
Yeah. I wouldn’tmind the church being gone after for trying to suppress and control people, but I don’t think they were raped. Its more a regret thing.
“Masterson’s lawyer, Philip Cohen, objected Wednesday to the prosecution’s frequent referrals to his client drugging his alleged victims before raping them and called for a mistrial, saying, ‘drugging does not constitute forcible rape.’”
I dunno but this sounds like there are better lawyers out there...
Not for rape in California, since 2016.
