They aren’t touting the Covid vaccine as preventing Covid infection anymore.

Their argument is — you need the vaccine in order to make the effects and symptoms of the infection LESS SEVERE, thus increasing your chances of survival and preventing hospitalization.

Hence, our leaders like Biden, Kamala, Fauci, etc. ALL got Covid despite being vaccinated and boosted, but none of them died and none of them experienced any serious symptoms....THEREFORE, the vaccine works to prevent hospitalization and death ( so goes the reasoning ).
