Commies didn't like it very much.

Bill Clinton could give a good conservative speech too, in front of a particular audience. By their fruits, you shall know them.

What’s he did to counteract socialism and communism? Nothing that I can see.

I’m sure he’s all in favor of teaching the anti-American “1619 Project” in NYC schools.

“A Trotskyite saying he doesn’t like Stalin.”
It all depended on where he was and who was his audience. But he remained a committed communist. Same as Adams.

“Mayor Adams denounced left-wing ideologies in an ultra-patriotic Monday speech in which he also lamented a perceived lack of national pride among young Americans.”
I think Mayor Adams just telegraphed that he is running for president of the United States.
I suspect he has also chartered a flight to Montgomery for June 3 to celebrate the anniversary of Jefferson Davis’ birthday.

Comrade Adams slighting his fellow comrades and overlords?

Adams’ Memorial Day musings drew pushback on social media from local Democratic socialists, who took issue with the fact that the mayor did not include fascism in his condemnation.
Well there is that................
