I’m all for using a simple dignified version of the National Anthem. My favorite is an arrangement by Felix Vinatieri, bandmaster to Custer’s 7th Calvary. It was recorded as part of a 2001 CD of Vinatieri music called “Custer’s Last Band” played on 1870s vintage instruments.
