I believe that if DeSantis turns out to be a strong Trump administration Attorney General that helps drain the swamp, he would stand a good chance of winning the GOP vote in 2028.
My prediction has always been that Trump wins in 2024, nominates Ted Cruz for Attorney General, Cruz then leaves in 2026 to run for Governor of Texas, and Trump nominates DeSantis after his term as Governor of Florida ends in 2026.

That’s a nice dream you’ve got there. I’d like to dream that one, too. Unfortunately, I keep having nightmares, instead. One in particular. I think it’s going to take a literal miracle and/or divine intervention from God, considering the election theft the DS Democrats have already gotten away with.
And considering the eerie quiet from the likes of CREW...after promising to disqualify Trump for the 2024 race...I have another year and a half to look forward to those nightmares. When the enemy gets quiet, unlike their usual raucous threatening and shrieking.... I start to worry MORE.
