What I see is Trump willing and eager take Disney’s side and attack from the left so far. He CHOSE to do that, he didn’t have to.
Stop peddling lies. You are defining the lowest level of discourse. What you see are figments of your imagination and gaslighting peddled by Never Trumpers. You are acting like a cultist- you redefine terms such that anyone who doesn’t salute your flag can be demonized.
The Disney Feud by DeSantis is idiotic. DeSantis is trying to use his position as a sledge hammer to win political credit and pay back criticism. The situation is much more complex. The corporation has rights, the covenant has provisions and for it to be dissolved the rules need to be obeyed. They were not and thus the dispute is in court. That will cost money & the State will likely lose. Dissolving the covenant will cost the people of Florida much money since the district is millions in the red for services every year and is currently being subsidized by theme park revenue. There are millions in bond improvement that need to be reassigned as well. Rather than showing conservative chops this whole move by DeSantis shows immaturity and abuse of power.
Suggesting that like Obama a Government official can not make it up as they go along is not attacking from the left it is revealing aspects of the situation that may not be obvious to the average person without knowledge of the factors. I don’t admire the current Disney company but it has the same rights as any other corporation in the America I want to be part of.
