“New Jersey meteorite finder permit”

As crazy a that sounds I wouldn’t be surprised if they required a permit for that, as they require one for metal detectors.

Cripes! I did not know you needed a permit I will check and see about Ct. I gave my kid a detector and he found a 1812 large copper penny on a old lane across the street, last week he found a 14 caret gold men’s ring with a beautiful opal 6 “ down in the ground at a park near us.
