Agreed! For me it all goes back to a comment that John Cleese once made about London. He said that he can no longer recognize London as being a British city. Unless I'm mistaken the majority of the city's residents today could not reasonably be considered to be fully “British”. For example,I've read that in London the most popular name given to newborn boys is “Mohammed”. That name can't be considered even *slightly* “British”.
