Donald Trump welcomes Tim Scott
TRUTH Social ^ | May 22, 2023 | Donald Trump

Posted on 05/22/2023 9:38:12 AM PDT by Trump20162020

Good luck to Senator Tim Scott in entering the Republican Presidential Primary Race. It is rapidly loading up with lots of people, and Tim is a big step up from Ron DeSanctimonious, who is totally unelectable. I got Opportunity Zones done with Tim, a big deal that has been highly successful. Good luck Tim!

I’d hate to be the Democrat who tries some trick to obstruct DJT’s re-election.

Whoever it is, I’ll be sure to send flowers to their family.

Trump’s “Desanctimonious” shtick is making it almost impossible for me to vote for him again.

This is becoming a more frequent reaction from those who aren’t hard-core Trump supporters. This could become a liability in a close general election. Trump now has a comfortable lead over DeSantis, but a lot can happen between now and the next general election.

I think he will pick a woman to run as VP. At first Trump and DeSantis were getting along and I figured he would be his choice. But he and many others think the dems want DeSantis in office. Like pence stabbed Trump in the back maybe DeSantis either does the same or plays along and gets to be the next President after Trumps final run. DeSantis is a politician that could be already in bed with the rest. Then the politicians could go on as business as usual. Once Trump hired barr they knew they were safe. Had to have someone hide the laptop and election fraud.

Will you vote for Trump if he is the nominee?

I would really have to think about that. I am very concerned with Trump moving left on grooming, abortion and firearms.

I do not want Trump to negotiate our assault weapons away or our gain on abortion away.

In fact, it really shows how STUPID Trump can be sometimes.....why would you want to negotiate with people that have been trying to destroy him for 7 years?

Please answer me that.

I suspect Tim Scott is really running for the VP spot with Trump.

Might not be a bad idea.

Fear and desperation will do that to people.

“It’s not in his nature to be sweet and gentlemanly. He’s from Queens after all, not Antebellum Atlanta.”

Who’s from Antebellum Atlanta???

And no, Trump’s nature is not because he’s from Qeens, NYC. NY.

He is and was a publicity hound and seeker always, no matter his work at the time. He was always braggadocio from his work in real estate to his work in television. He was “old school” (Maye West) as far as publicity - NO publicity is “bad”. The only bad publicity is no publicity.

Ego - unlike many big one-owner business people, Trump names most of his business venttures after himself - Trump builing, Trump Casino, Trump Hotel, Trump Golf Course, ect., ect. ect., ect. Is that existential to being a sucess? No. It’s ego.

But these threads are full of people saying DeSantis is really a RINO, and Trump is the true conservative.

These threads are full of people saying DeSantis is allied with Paul Ryan and Karl Rove and the RINO establishment.

So how do we know who to support?

In Trump's first term, did he negotiate away anything of substance?

In fact, did he do anything that you didn't like?

To take that one step further, do you think the Left would negotiate with Trump even if he were willing to negotiate?

People need to wake up to the fact that we are past the mid-point of a Marxist coup. The government is gone (the Deep State has taken control of it). The Democrat Party is gone (it has been taken over by Marxists).

We don't need a president, we need a general.

Anyone who thinks a president can bring unity to this country is insane.

There will be no unity.

If we are lucky, we may be able to save our freedom. But frankly, I have my doubts about even that.

Our country is in a period quite similar to 1930's Germany. People who study that period realize that there was no stopping the Nazis. We still have a sliver of a chance of stopping the Marxists here in the U.S. But it is a very small chance.

Trump scared and desperate?

That's the dumbest thing I've read yet today.
Maybe you can top that with your next post. Bet you can.

My money right now is not on him getting the nomination.

Prepare for disappointment.

In Trump's first term, did he negotiate away anything of substance? In fact, did he do anything that you didn't like?

Bump stock ban

Spending out of control

Trump signed a $2 trillion spending bill that made the lockdowns comfortable and kick-started the inflation we still suffer with today

Willing to sign an assault weapons ban

Not standing up for small business and person freedom during Covid.

After 4 years of being smeared, lied and framed by the Deep State, Trump turned the nation over to the Deep State during Covid.

To add to my reply: Yes, Trump did lots of great things.

I am not trying to take away any of his accomplishments.

But I am a conservative and Trump has turned against us. He blames us for his losses.

Trump is very much a Queens personality. You may not like him and that's your perogative.

Queens people have a reputation for being very direct, honest, and blunt in their speech. As we used to say, "They say what they mean and mean what they say. And what you see is what you get." Working stiffs and proud of it. They are brusque and proud of that too.

I lived in NYC from the 70's to the 90s. I know a lot of people from Queens and many of them are very much like Trump.

Tim might of even told trump that was his goal was to be his vice president or give himself some name recognition for a run in 2028. I believe trump wants about 5-6 Tim Scot opponents to be in the primary. the difference between Scott and DeSantis is that DeSantis has a small solid loyal base and Scott does not.

Another difference is that DeSantos has a secret list of people flying him around the world and funding his campaign, and just changed FL law to keep it that way.

It's like your tagline says, this is the end of the country. We had better pick someone who can fight the Marxists.

If Trump's the nominee, we had better support him because if the Left wins, they will be lining us up to board boxcars to the gas chambers.

You are absolutely correct. Trump wants as many of the single digit candidates to enter as possible. Notice he hasn’t unloaded on Nikki Haley yet either. He is savvy enough to know that the cumulative number of votes from these small players could enable him to eke out some plurality victories in early primaries.

That being said, he obviously fears DeSantis, who is among the brightest shining stars in today’s GOP (along with Glenn Youngkin).

Keep in mind that when the GOP primaries ramp up in early 2024, Trump will be in a courtroom explaining why he paid hush money to a porn actress and a Playboy Playmate. It remains to be seen if he will be indicted in Georgia.

Trump’s finite army should be expected to remain loyal, but this is certainly not enough to produce a general election victory. Trump carried Florida by 3%. DeSantis carried Florida by 19% by combining Trump loyalists with moderates and independents (something that Trump cannot do).
