For its time, it was very well done sci-fi television. The effects were pretty good.

Corin Nemec, or as we most fondly remember him as Dr. Jonas Quinn from Stargate SG-1

I remember him from "Parker Lewis Can't Lose". Though, he was a good replacement for Daniel Jackson in SG-1.

SG-1 jumped the shark when they resurrected Daniel Jackson and got rid of Nemec.

Hollywood always seems mystical and magical to most Americans,

good thing he said "most" not "all" ...

Hollywood always seems corrupt and depraved to me.

HA! Good for him.

I liked him in Parker Lewis. He was in “The Stand” mini-series; I didn’t like his character... but he was playing a weak, bad guy, so I guess he did his job.

Corin Nemec also appeared in an episode or two of Supernatural and in numerous other supporting roles in various movies and TV shows. To Nemec's credit, like most actors these days, he does a capable, professional job. As goofy as Hollywood so often is, its people do work at what they do and are usually pretty good at it.
