The love I have had for HD for 60 years and the Road King I have sitting in my garage just turned very bitter in my mind. I also have my first bike, a ‘46 74 cu. in. sitting next to the Road King. Harley drivers are the very last individuals on earth to sign on to wokism, which says those running the company are brain dead. The suicidal ideologues just will not leave well enough alone.

I’ve noticed that if you see a Harley it’s being driven by an older man. I suspect that the demographic Harley appeals to is aging out. To move their market into a younger demographic they probably hired some marketing people, who are of course college graduates. College graduates are by-and-large liberal and probably have as much understanding of the Harley brand as the young female VP at Bush who came up with the present debacle. College graduates see the world through a special liberalizing lens. This means they see a world populated by people like them. (Thus, the upcoming electric bike.)
