I’d say #2. The Dems will steal it again but it will be so obvious that there will be unrest of some sort.
Yeah, I think we’re being propped up by only the job market and stocks right now. Those snap late summer when the housing really crashes after a super poor summer moving season.
People are going to blame the govt and Biden will try to blame it on the republicans slacking on the debt ceiling.
This will be the real determiner. The media is going to blame the republicans for everything during this crash. If the republicans go ostrich, then the Dems might get some traction, but people will be waiting for the republicans to do something to replace the Dems.
All the republicans have to do is be a little louder than normal. Shove it in their face, mock them, just act like Trump for a bit. If that happens then the Dems get frustrated, lash out, and the Dems will lose. 2020 most normies were on the fence and many votes Biden, now only the 10% hard left will.
