What are the odds that the woman pilot will dent the space station? ;-)

Great launch. Cant believe what NASA used to have to do to get people into orbit. SpaceX Makes it look so easy. Friggen nailed the landing, 1st off of an orbital launch.

What do they do with that stubby piece on teh tail of the capsule? Its got thrusters on it. Does it get reused yet? I thot it was a piece that went with the capsule longer than just orbit insertion.?

That is so cool to watch!
To: know.your.why
I watched it. Thanks for the reminder! It’s amazing technology and engineering that they not only can launch a capsule into orbit, but that the first stage can make a smooth and precise landing at the same time.

Oh, in case anyone missed it, the capsule is due to dock with the ISS after 9:30 Eastern tomorrow morning. They will start coverage an hour or two (I forget exactly what they said) before that.

No idea - not an expert but there are likely a number of YT videos that will explain it.

To: know.your.why
I am about 60 miles south of the cape and saw about 1 second of the launch between the clouds.
I set up the radar on the boat hoping to catch it on the screen, but, either it’s too far, or, too small at that range.
