But assuming that no threats or anything like that is involved I have trouble seeing a young guy being harmed in a situation like this. OK,pregnancy and disease...but other than that?
I don't know...maybe I'm just jealous. All my teachers were nuns.
Anyone ever wonder why most of these teachers are female? My theory is because the men they work along side with in schools are woke who believe being a man is “toxic” so they never ask out their female co-workers and as a result, these female teachers end up sex starved and desperate.

I always a curious as to how the perp got caught. It would be interesting to know who made the allegations. I would bet loose lips in the locker room. No doubt the victim bragged about his conquest.

Age of consent in Kalifornia is 18. A 16 year old male, unless he is mentally impaired, is not a victim.

LOL! Public “schools” are dumps. They don’t educate, they program and indoctrinate.
If this were a decent looking 38 year old male teacher involved with a 16 year old female student, would people here be saying “not guilty”, or that the 16 year old was “lucky?”
A couple of thoughts:
1. I think this is a lot more common than people think (male students and older female teachers). I’ve talked to some female teachers who have confessed attraction to their male students (though none admitted doing anything about it).
2. Just like young women are beauty objects to men, older women are attracted to young men
3. Many of them may have latent issues from their High school days and this is their way to live them out.
4. Like others, I don’t put younger males/older women in the same category as when the genders/ages are reversed. Why? Simply because young men are a lot more willing and less chance of psychological harm and no chance of pregnancy.
It’s not about love. It’s about power and control.
A 38-year-old woman and a 16 year-old boy? That is a huge age difference. If she is married with children, then that makes it even worse.
I remember a teacher I had in HS who used to say “remember me in the dark”. She was smokin hot and likely had a romp or 2 with some of the boys. Not me however. All I got were the memories.
