I understand that you aspire to be an online bully, and part of why I have helped keep this conversation going is to find out what type of lame insult that you will try to use next. Unfortunately, you have not come up with even one original or fresh insult in our entire conversation.

How many times has that insult been used around here? It came from the 1995 movie Billy Madison and you used it without even having the decency to use it in its correct context.

What the hell is the difference? Either the https or the article's title can be put in your search engine with the same result.
So you have been here over 20 years and you have no idea what the difference is between a search suggestion and a link? It is pretty obvious that you never bothered to learn any html, but not knowing the difference between a link and a search suggestion???
A link belongs in an address bar, and a search suggestion belongs in search box. If you really don't know the difference between the two you should really try boning up a little.
My byline says, "Irritating people are the grit from which we fashion our pearl. I provide the grit. You're Welcome." I typically learn more from the people that I disagree with than those that have the same beliefs that I do. And I am more than willing to admit when I have been wrong if it is demonstrated to me in a convincing manner.
Looking through your posting history reveals someone who is extremely intolerant of anyone who disagrees with you even if they have tiptoed around whatever subject is being discussed. It is very sad, not for the ones who have attempted to have discussions with you, but for you. You seem to be a very immature person with little hope of ever improving. I can only imagine what your personal life has been like.

Not only have I never seen the movie, I have never heard of it. In any event, that quote goes back more than a hundred years, when then SOTH Thomas Brackett Reed, a Republican, said it about the Democrats. And, since you argue like a Democrat, it immediately came to mind.

Again, you rush to judgment and jump to conclusions, another trait of a Democrat. The simple fact is, both an https address and a headlining caption from an article will take you to the article; one goes in the address bar and the other goes in the search bar. In fact, if one puts the https in the search bar it will pull up the article. So, you see, it really doesn’t matter which route you choose, as they will both take you to the same place.
You founder because your arguments are driven by emotion rather than reason. The above is a case in point: You got the fantods differing over something that is, really, not only inconsequential, but nonsensical.

If someone takes a position opposite mine, without rancor, I respond in kind. However, once someone introduces rancor, I will respond accordingly thereafter. It’s like Democrats and Republicans: Dems trash Republicans as a matter of course; but Republicans mistakenly take the position that if they just “turn the other cheek,” and attempt civility, the Dems will respond similarly. But, Dems are not like that; Dems will see such civility as weakness and will be encouraged to continue their attacks, and maybe even ratchet them up. The country would be better off if the Republicans fought the Dems with the same vigor and vinegar with which the Dems fight them.

Time is only wasted if one does not use it. And, if one does not use it, one will never know how it might have turned out. And the saddest thing a person can ask of himself, or herself, at the very end of their life, begins with, “If only...” or “What if...?” And I made a promise to myself — many, many years ago, as a young man — that at the end of my days I would never have to ask myself such a question.
